We suggest NOT treating uncomplicated varicella in otherwise healthy children less than 12 years of age due to the modest benefits of acyclovir .
We recommend acyclovir for the treatment of varicella in the following children who are at increased risk of complicated disease: those who are 12 years of age or older, those with chronic cutaneous or pulmonary disorders, or in those individuals taking steroid or salicylate therapy
We suggest acyclovir treatment for secondary contacts since these individuals are at increased risk for more severe disease
We recommend oral acyclovir (20 mg/kg PO four times daily for five days) for adults with uncomplicated varicella

Acetaminophen elixir n=1
5-10 cc q 6 h

Cetirizine tab 10 mg n=10
1 tab qd at bedtime

Cetirizine syr 5mg/5ml n=1
5-10 cc qd or bd

Calamine-d topical lot n=1

درمان تب با آسپیرین به علت ایجاد سندرم ری ممنوع است

مقدار کافی دو بار در روز جهت کاهش خارش ضایعات استفاده شود
به بیمار توصیه کنید جهت جلوگیری از عفونت ثانویه پوستی به علت خارش ناخن های خود را کوتاه کند.
